Welcome to the OLC2 guide. This Document was created because of the lack of effective and thorough documentation for OLC2 in and of
itself. Originally, oddly enough it was written for Dreamless Realms, however, much of
the information covered in this documentation no longer applies to them.. The custom commands for DR will look like this throughout the site, so that you know they won't work for your mud.
so, why OLC? Well, OLC is an On Line Creation utility for any mud. This documentation covers OLC2, created by Ivan. However, it should cover most any basic rom OLC (again, created by Ivan).
I've used most every version of OLC available, and the only complaint I've had about Ivans OLC is that it's not written in English. However, not everyone speaks my language, yano? So, I'm working slowly on getting everything documented..It'll get there eventually.
Anyways, enough rambling. You can get where you like from those things there on the left, the uhh uhh buttons, yeah that's what they are
**grin**
Commands meant to be typed will be shown as command (argument). Please please please please don't type the command as it's typed here
(ie: redit create (1299) --- it SHOULD be redit create 1299).
Author's note:
I've done my best to try to keep this as straight forward and newbie oriented as possible. Hopefully I've managed to make that a successful attempt. If you can think of something I did forget, feel free to drop me an email. Side Note:
I know, I forgot to add the cmdedit table to this list, but you really SHOULD know what you're doing there, without being told how to do
it. If you don't, you don't belong in it..

As you can see, I've updated the site quite a bit over the past few days. This isn't anything new, as I usually do something like this once every year or so. Unfortunately, this means that you're going to have to re-register if you want to participate in the forums or the commenting...
